Hey guys!

The holidays are coming to an end and as relieved as I am (it was bloody boring), I'm not too keen on classes. But, I am looking forward to see all of you again. I miss you guys so much!

So I decided to change the layout a bit; white is too boring for my taste. I wanted to change it to a custom-made XML template originally but I changed my mind. I can't be bothered to go through HTML just to change one thing. *Rolls eyes*. 

Anyway, enough of the rambling. So we all know what will happen with the coming of the new trimester; THE RESULTS FOR THE ON-AIR DJS WILL BE OUT SOON. *Dramatic music in the background* Just wanted to say that everyone gave their best effort and I am proud of all of you for giving your best shot! Hello darlings,
Been awhile since I posted anything. Pretty much because there wasn't much to be posted on. Well I'm back and this post will be a short one though.

I'm in Kedah right now, at my nan's. And seriously, I am dying of boredom up here so I decided to make use of time and post a new entry.

It's past 12AM which means that it's already Eid today. It's a celebration which everyone looks forward to (even the non-muslims) because there are loads of food and after a whole month of fasting, you are rewarded with some really yummy food. =D

So I would just like to take this chance to apologize to everyone if I ever said or did anything that might have offended you. Now if you would excuse me, I need to get ready for later on in the morning and collect my duit raya, err, I mean celebrate with my family. Let's have a meaningful Eid, shall we? (:

Happy Mooncake Festival.

English Slot Fact #37: V is a Pinoy. =D

Greetings DJs,

Shez is back.

First off, I would like to take this opportunity to wish y'all HAPPY MOONCAKE FESTIVAL. Woohoo! Sounds exciting yeah? In celebration of the Mooncake Festival, DJ Club will be holding a last gathering for all its members for his sem. But before that, the English slot will be having a break-fasting session at HB3. 

Here are the details:

BREAK-FASTING SESSION.

Venue: HB3.

Time: 7pm.

MOONCAKE CELEBRATION SESSION.

Venue: Grand Hall.

Time: 8pm.

Both are held on the 14th September 2008, on Sunday. (:

So basically, what will happen is that the English Slot DJs will gather at HB3 at 7pm and go for break-fasting session, then at 8PM, we will gather at the Grand Hall with the DJs from the other slots and we will walk to Cyberpark, holding a lantern each. 

The objective? To show how united we are as DJ Club members and to create a bond with the other members too and blablabla. Well, you get the drift. =p

So come on everybody, join in the fun! It'll be cooler if you brought your own lantern too! Coz then we can release it and let it fly into space and let the aliens know that we exist; so perhaps someday, they can visit our planet Earth and we can create a bond between the universe! =D

THE MANY CHEERY HAPPY BIRTHDAYS

English Slot Fact #234: Yellow is the new pink!!

Hey guys,

Phat here taking over Shez place as the moderator for only this post.Gotta let her rest since this post has something to do with her.Apparently from August 28th till Sept 3rd there are a string of birthday boys and girls and that is why we felt responsible to celebrate their birthdays.The earlier plan was to celebrate Shez's birthday Sept 3rd, in Alamanda and treat the celebration as one of our usual English Slot outing by eating out, play bowling and catch a movie.Due to some unforseen circumstances, we sorta changedd our plans.

Originally we were suppose to break-fast in McD, play one frame of bowling and catch Babylon A.D.It was kinda stressful to manage the outing, one of the reason is because this year English Slot has expanded thus more people to keep track of.Then again, props to the outing directors,Bondiva and Fatty for pulling off quite a flawless job.And yes boys, you are welcome (I helped a bit...just rubbing it in~)!!~

As the day approaches, we discovered a new plan thus the change of plan.Both Sparky and I realized that DJ Melon,DJ Chady Chad and DJ Zeth celebrate their birthdays just prior to Shez's birthday so we thought maybe it would be fun if we surprise our four DJs by celebrating their birthday!!!~

So to save cost,I suggested that I get my dearest mommy (not me of coz!!) to bake a chocolate cake for everyone and also because Shez and Sparky love it so much.Also we bought some party poppers and also sqawkers (in which Mumble and Nabz could not stop blowing...ish annoying!!) to hype up the party.The best part of it all was that, Melon,Chady Chad and Zeth thought the party was only for Shez...hehehe...the look on their faces were priceless but we'll get to that later.

Thus the plan is set and so it was initiated, however,we forgot to book a place in McD so we ended eating in KFC.5 of us went there first to book a place and it was a little stressful for us because KFC's customers are stroming in but the rest of us were not there yet.Then again, things cool down later and we happily break our fast together (except for the non-muslim DJs, they don't really have a fast to break) and happily we chatted and chill like how we; English Slot DJs, usually hungout together.To make the surprise more happening, we decided to get someone to each be responsible in placing the party hat on our birthday boys and girls so DJ Shorty,DJ Apple,DJ Zeek and DJ Blind were given the responsibility.After we ate, me and Sparky headed off to get the cake while rest marched on towards the Alamanda front park where they were supposed to be hanging around and ake pictures.

Came in the cake and we wished and sang for the birthday boys and girls but then Double D forgot all about the party poppers thus we had to redo the whole process again. Time to eat the cake but some smarty pants (not gonna say who) decided to spat pieces of the choc cake to other peoples' faces.And yes, I was on of the main victims.It was a waste of a really good and delicious cake but we all had so much fun together running around throwing, spatting and also avoiding the cake.Excitement had to end early because we had a scheduled bowling game afterwards oh and before I forgot, we cancelled the movie because from the reviews we got of the movie, it wasn't an interesting catch, so we decided to play 2 rounds of bowling.Take a look at the pictures below to check out the fun we had!!!

Believe or not,we had to take 8 lanes to divide everyone and some had thought of crazy ideas to annoy people for example, DJ Hamady decided to bowl in Double D's lane when it was Double D's turn to bowl (he even did it to Shorty as well) and vice versa but DD failed to annoy Hamady because instead of the ball rolls down Hamady's lane, it went towards some strangers lane just next to Hamady's.A lot of other weird and fun incident happens like someone tripped and fell in front of his whole team, another literally had their bowling ball bowled to the back,the must unlikely person bowled a strike and a whole lotta big and loud cheer!!!

So after 2 frames of bowling, we finally came to an end with our outing and thus ends English Slot's most biggest birthday celebration so far.November will probably be a bigger celebration since the birthday list is freaking long in that month.So one thing you can see from here is how we actually care for all our DJs so do inform our moderator,DJ Shez of your birthday so we can celebrate it as well!!!

So on Thursday we there was a dodge ball competition. Thank you to those who participated. It was great fun despite the fact that some of us had/have severe muscle pain, but that's what you get for not warming up. =p Although we didn't win, I would like to congratulate all of you (Angry DJs, Banana DJs and Crazy DJs team) for doing a splending job! I mean, we had tons and gallons and litres of enjoyment anyway! But last and not least, thumbs up to the Banana DJs team for making it into the quater finals! *Clap clap clap*

Anyway;

I had one person asking me this question, and just to remind you guys, THERE WILL BE NO ON-AIR SESSION TOMORROW.

Now before I end the blog entry, I would just like to say HAPPY INDEPENDANCE DAY and HAPPY FASTING to all. It's Ramadhan season and I can't wait for the time when we break our fast and the delicious food comes rolling in and it's just pure heaven! Lawl.

hey guys,

i know most of u know d details about d PD Trip but i'll just inform u guys again. Below r d details 4 PD Trip:

Venue: Port Dickson
Date: 12th n 13th of July 2008
Registration: 10.00 am
Payment: RM50

Please gather at d STAD building 4 registration. All of u r advised to pay 4 d trip b4 dis coming Wednesday (9th July 2008) to ur manager, Double D. However please give ur name to Double D by dis Sunday 12am.

Hope dat most of us from d english slot can make it since a few good friends of ours wont b able 2 join d trip. Anything please inform ur manager or u can simply just ask me :D

A new beginning

Hye all, Double D here.. so this is our 1st post (hehehe, im the 1st person to post) and as your english slot manager I want to say welcome to panic! in the studio
The reason i create this blog is for us to post anything (gossips, our activities, jokes, bla3)
We can also create polls and put some pictures and what so ever.
By creating this i hope that we can connect closer with ourselves and our listeners.


Like always there are some rules n conditions :
1) no personal stuffs allowed (no backstabbing, no bitching around)
2) no sex n porn (cant believe myself saying that)
